Suba Maniam is an accomplished artist and educator based in Western Australia, with over 20 years of contributions to arts communities across India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Western Australia. The granddaughter of the renowned artist Maniam and daughter of artist Maniam Selven, she upholds her family’s artistic legacy. With a background in Fine Arts and Contemporary Art Practice, Suba is deeply committed to cross-cultural integration and nurturing the next generation of artists. She has led children’s workshops in various arts centres across Perth and specialises in watercolours, sketchbooking, and plein air painting, drawing inspiration from nature.

Trained in Indian classical music, Suba’s unique, multidisciplinary approach to her artistic practice is evident across her wide-ranging projects in visual design, set development, music presentations, workshops, and curatorial roles. Her dedication to creativity, education, and cultural exchange fuels her ongoing artistic journey and enriches the communities she engages with.
